We believe that participation in our many activities links to the happiness and success of our students both now, and in the future. These accompaniments are essential to academic success and social-emotional development, two things KKIS instructors care deeply about. We are proud of our holistic approach to the education and development of our students and expect all our students to show commitment to this area of School life.

Since every day is a unique day for our students, the weekly enriched programme in our school is carefully tailored to balance periods ofstructured learning with creative activities.

This is our unique pedagogy that we take the enrichment to the next level by following a graded upskill programme leading to deep-rooted establishment of the same.
We not only introduce an activity, but through carefully planned teaching strategies, we also equip our students making them more skilful, competent, and confident before facing the competition based on that enrichment.
Pupils at KKIS will experience a wide array of activities from Literary activities to Music, Art to Drama, and many other varied activities.

Oratory Skill Enrichment & Speech Presentations

Prepare your mind and heart before you prepare your speech. What we say is less important than how we say it!

Through Speech presentations, KKIS supports the enrichment journey of students that assist them imbibe important life skills:speaking and listening; creative thinking; expressing emotions and developing interpersonal skills.

Recitation

Poetry is when an emotion has found thought and thought has found words!

Recitation enrichment at KKIS familiarizes the students with the true spirit of a language, increases their vocabulary, and boosts their self-confidence;

They become skilled readers, active listeners, and confident speakers.

SAS – Spin a Story

We create our lives through stories we tell ourselves and the stories we hear!

SAS as an enrichment activity at KKIS establishes a connection between story -telling and literacy. Storytelling creates a love for the language and motivation to read.

Dance Enrichment

Dance is the joy of movement and heart of life. It is the hidden language of the soul!

Dance competition in our school is not just about the trophies – it is a highly rewarding and worthwhile activity for students of all ages.

Enhancement of Handwriting skills

Handwriting is unique to each individual writer. Learning to write well can help make this statement strong, beautiful, and – most importantly – legible.

Handwriting is an essential skill for students. It is an incredibly important exercise for students to encourage them to develop fine motor skills and confidence. It activates the brain and contributes to reading fluency.

As the saying goes, Practice makes perfect, at KKIS we instruct students to practice the techniques of good handwritingthat include pencil grasp, spacing, size and shape of the letters by engaging them in various handwriting exercises.

Quiz competitions

“Knowledge is a treasure. It empowers us and forms the basis of all progression.”

The objective of quiz competitions at KKIS is to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts.

Our wide array of enrichment activities prepare our students to take on challenges and competitions in and outside of school. Annually, inter class competitions are held like Spelling Bee, Quiz, and Spin a Story.

Through meticulous preparation & hard work alongside the guidance and training from our teachers, our students have participated in external art competitions, oratory competitions in Tamil and English and also Robotics competitions.

Pitting themselves against other students on such platforms helps the students develop increased self-confidence, self-esteem, communication & presentation skills.

They have also won numerous accolades and brought glory to the KKIS name.
